In Galactic Pancake, fragments of my clothing and salvaged packaging come together in a fun, otherworldly landscape. Bright splashes of turquoise, magenta, and ochre blend with textured folds and creases, creating shapes that feel like a mix of architecture and a dreamy fantasy. The surface is full of tactile details—stitched, crumpled, and collaged—that remind us of worn fabric's cozy history and the vast, exciting universe hinted at in the title. This piece invites viewers to explore its colorful, textured layers, where everyday objects and outer space happily meet.
